Meet Steve!

Steve is a happy-go-lucky pup ready to find his forever home! He's the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, with plenty of energy to keep up with an active lifestyle. Whether he is romping around with his canine foster sister, playing with his favorite toys, or taking a stroll through the neighborhood, Steve is always up for an adventure.

While he loves to stay on the move, he is also a great couch companion when it's time to recharge. He enjoys a few good naps throughout the day. Steve has been gentle with his young human foster siblings, though he's still learning how to play politely and should be monitored around very young kids.

Steve sleeps soundly through the night and finds comfort in his crate, though he prefers the door stay open. He has been doing well with potty training and is making great progress with basic commands and manners. With continued patience and training, he will only continue to improve!

We believe Steve would thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company. His history with cats is unknown.

Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
