Meet Moses!

A charming Southern gentleman, Moses was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina and is now here in Buffalo, searching for his forever home.

Moses has spent far too long without a loving family, and he is bursting at the seams with the amount of love he has to offer! His favorite place is without a doubt, right next to his people. He is often nervous around new places and people (primarily men), however once he warms up, he will be your best friend.

Moses will happily accept all of the pets, scratches, and belly rubs you have to offer, and is often at his happiest just laying next to you on the couch or resting his head on your lap.  When he is not cuddled up next to you, Moses loves to play, go on walks/ hikes, chew on a good chew toy, hang out outside, and is really just appreciative to be along for the ride, wherever you may be.

Moses has THE most enthusiastic tail wag around, and his pure joy and appreciation for life is contagious. He is very gentle with his young (human) foster siblings, and loves to play with his canine foster sibling as well.  We believe he would benefit from having another dog in the home to play with, but would also be content as an only dog, as long as he has company at home most of the time. (He does play hard sometimes, so he may not be the best fit for very small dogs).  Moses’ future home does need to be a chicken-free zone, as he does not play well with chickens, and will also need to be cat-free.

Moses has crate trained beautifully. He will happily snuggle up in his crate with a kong while his family is out, and at night.  He has also done very well potty training and with learning basic commands and manners.  He’s made great progress in these areas, and will only benefit from continued patience and training in order to master his skills!

Moses would be a wonderful addition to a family who is ready to love and be loved in return! If you feel you may like to welcome Moses into your home and have him by your side for your daily adventures, please submit an application today!
